Crafted for exceptional comfort and modern durability, this duvet combines the cloud-like loft of premium down with a refined, easy-care fabric blend. Designed to offer a luxurious sleep experience, it balances breathability with lightweight warmth, making it an ideal addition to a high-end bedding collection.

Key Features

  • 90% Premium Duck Down Filling: Offers superior loft, gentle resilience, and a plush, feather-light feel that envelops you in breathable warmth without heavy pressure.
  • Durable 440 Thread Count Blend: Features a refined fabric composition of 62% cotton and 38% polyester. This blend harnesses the natural softness and breathability of cotton alongside the enhanced strength, wrinkle resistance, and longevity of polyester.
  • Ideal 200 GSM Weight & Tog Rating: Engineered at 200 GSM, this duvet typically translates to a 4.5 to 6.0 Tog rating. It is perfectly suited for warmer climates, summer seasons, or year-round comfort in climate-controlled indoor environments.
  • Box-Stitch Construction: Meticulously sewn baffle-box channels keep the down filling evenly distributed across the entire surface, preventing clumping or shifting for consistent warmth throughout the night.

Care Instructions: 90% Duck Down Lightweight Duvet

Proper maintenance will protect the delicate down clusters, preserve the breathability of your cotton-polyester shell, and keep your duvet light and fluffy for years to come.

Daily & Routine Care

  • Daily Airing: Give your duvet a gentle shake each morning when making the bed to redistribute the down fill and let trapped body moisture evaporate.
  • Use a Duvet Cover: Always use a removable duvet cover. It protects the outer fabric from oils and dust, vastly reducing how often you need to wash the actual duvet.
  • Sun & Air (Periodic): Hang the duvet outdoors in indirect, gentle sunlight and fresh air for a few hours every few months to naturally deodorize and refresh the down. Avoid harsh, direct midday sun.

Washing Instructions (Professional Care Recommended)

Due to the delicate nature of high-percentage down filling and the 200 GSM lightweight construction, professional dry cleaning is generally recommended to prevent clumping.

If washing at home, follow these steps carefully:

  • Machine Specs: Use an oversized front-load washing machine (ensure your drum capacity is large enough so the duvet isn't cramped).
  • Cycle & Temperature: Wash on a gentle / delicate cycle using cold or lukewarm water.
  • Detergent: Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent specifically formulated for down products. Never use bleach, enzymes, or fabric softeners, as these strip the natural oils from the down and degrade the fabric blend.
  • Extra Rinse: Run an extra rinse cycle to ensure all soap residues are completely flushed out.

Drying Instructions (Crucial Step)

  • Tumble Dry Low: Tumble dry on low heat or air-fluff (no heat). High heat can melt synthetic fibers in the blend and damage the down clusters.
  • Use Dryer Balls: Toss 3 clean dryer balls (or tennis balls wrapped in clean white socks) into the dryer drum. As they tumble, they continuously break up wet clumps and help restore the duvet's loft and fluffiness.
  • Patience is Key: Drying a down duvet takes time (often several cycles). Pull it out periodically to shake it manually and redistribute any damp spots.
  • Ensure 100% Dryness: Before putting the duvet back on your bed or into storage, make certain it is completely dry throughout. Even a tiny bit of residual moisture can cause mildew or odors inside the box-stitched pockets.
